The materials used for CFRP wrap reinforcement and repair of concrete structures are mainly carbon fiber wrap and resin for pasting.


1. The tensile strength of carbon fiber wrap should be calculated based on the net cross-sectional area of the fiber. The net cross-sectional area is calculated by multiplying the calculated thickness of the carbon fiber cloth by the width. The calculated thickness of the carbon fiber cloth is the mass per unit area of the carbon fiber cloth divided by the carbon fiber density. The carbon fiber mass per unit area of single-layer carbon fiber cloth should not be lower than 150g / ㎡, and should not be higher than 450g / ㎡. When the construction quality is reliably guaranteed, the carbon fiber mass per unit area of the single-layer carbon fiber cloth can be increased to 600g / ㎡.


2. Adhesives must have sufficient cohesive properties. The types and types of epoxy cementing materials used in various parts of the process should be selected according to the temperature and humidity during construction. The proportion of the main agent and the curing agent should be correctly grasped, so that the permeability, viscosity, and curing speed can meet the needs of construction in different seasons. When carbon fiber sheet is used to reinforce the concrete structure, the base resin, leveling material, impregnating resin or bonding resin that is matched with the carbon fiber sheet should be used.


3. During bending and shear reinforcement, the concrete strength grade of the reinforced concrete structural members shall not be lower than C15, and the positive tensile bond strength of the concrete surface shall not be lower than 1.5MPa. When closed carbon fiber sheets are used to reinforce concrete columns, the concrete strength level should not be lower than C10.
