Reinforcement reasons: the function change of the original building
The project mentioned that the original office building belonged to the office property, and now it was transformed into a communication room. The load is obviously increased. Now the beams and plates are strengthened with carbon fiber to increase the tensile strength, so as to achieve the load conditions of the building's functional transformation. According to the design requirements of the Institute, FRP wrap reinforcement is adopted first.
Reinforcement scheme
The tensile strength of beams and plates at the bottom of beams and plates can be enhanced by means of bonded CFRP on the surface of beams and plates, as well as to avoid further deterioration of cracks in the beams or plates to achieve the purpose of enhancing the bearing capacity of the structure.

Result
CFRP has the advantages of high strength, high modulus of elasticity, corrosion resistance and light weight. It is suitable for flexural, shear and seismic strengthening of reinforced concrete. The effect reached after strengthening:
1. Effectively controlling cracks and cracks on beams and boards, and repairing cracks to some extent.
2. After the completion of reinforcement, the weight of the main body has hardly increased, and the indoor space has not been affected.
3. It effectively improves the bearing capacity of beams and plates, and meets the requirements of structural and functional transformation.
