Project overview

The building is a high-rise frame shear structure. Due to temperature and shrinkage of concrete, cracks appear on the floor. In view of the use of functions and years, the continuous development of cracks may be prevented by the stress concentration. FRP composite strengthening system are attached to ensure that the concrete floor of the building is used normally.


Material requirements

Carbon fiber cloth: this project uses a carbon fiber with a specification of 300g, with high performance unidirectional fabric, its tensile strength standard value is more than 3400Mpa, modulus of elasticity is more than 2.4 x 105Mpa, and the elongation is more than 1.7%.


CFRP adhesive: with carbon fiber structure adhesive, its tensile bond strength is more than 2.5Mpa, the positive tensile shear strength of the impregnated resin is more than 14Mpa, tensile strength is more than 40Mpa, compression strength is more than 80Mpa, bending strength is more than 50Mpa, modulus of elasticity is more than 2500Mpa, and the elongation is more than 1.5%.


The construction process of externally bonded carbon fiber to repair concrete structure is as follows:

Base treatment, base surface dedusting, sticky veneer repair (leveling treatment), bonded carbon fiber sheet and maintenance.
