FRP strengthening
Partial column volume reinforcement ratio is insufficient, and fiber reinfroced polymer(FRP)strengthening is used. The two and three layer hollow slab, carbon fiber fabric is strengthened.
Project overview
The office complex was built in 1994, with a total construction area of 4038.30m2, 6 main building frames, 2 floors of auxiliary buildings, and a total height of 23.7m. The project is renovated and renovated by using the original structure form, retaining the supporting components such as columns and beams of the original building, and changing the original use function. The 1-3 level is transformed into a cultural and educational exhibition base for disaster prevention and mitigation. The 4-6 layer is transformed into office space and staff dormitories, and the staircase is renovated.
The design scheme for reconstruction and reinforcement is determined
The main structure of the main building of the office building is basically good, but the concrete strength grade is generally lower than the design requirement (C30), especially the three or four layer, and the concrete strength grade is only C15. The main rib diameter of the five or six story column is 18mm, which is less than 20 mm of the design. The mortar strength of the auxiliary building wall is significantly lower than the current design and specification requirements.
The axial compression ratio of some columns exceeds the limit and the reinforcement is strengthened by increasing section.
