Unload

When using fiber-reinforced composite materials for reinforcement, measures should be taken to unload as much as possible. Its purpose is to reduce the influence of the secondary stress, that is, to reduce the strain after the fiber composite material, so that the reinforced structure can make full use of the strength of the fiber material.

Base surface treatment for reinforcement construction

Remove the incomplete and damaged part of the surface of the concrete component, repair and restore the incomplete part of the component that has been chipped, cleaned and exposed, so that the reinforcement component is exposed to a flat and clean base surface.

Apply primer

Apply the primer (adhesive) evenly on the concrete surface of the defective part with a brush.

Paste structure carbon fiber fabric

Cut structural carbon fiber fabric to the size required by the design. Prepare impregnating resin and apply it evenly on the components to be pasted. Rolling along the carbon fiber direction several times to squeeze out the air bubbles, so that the impregnating resin fully penetrates the structural carbon fiber fabric. The surface of the structural carbon fiber fabric is evenly coated with impregnated resin.

Surface protection

Dispose of in accordance with relevant regulations, and ensure that the protective material and the structural carbon fiber fabric are reliably bonded.
