The carbon fiber wrapping system is an effective solution for structural reinforcement. Carbon fiber has very high tensile strength and is very light. When bonded to the exterior of concrete columns, beams or slabs, it can significantly increase the strength without increasing the weight that would increase the load of the foundation and other structural members. This allows the concentrated density of fibers to provide maximum longitudinal stretch potential-greater than any other fabric weave.
