Strengthening of Structures using Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composites - Horse Construction
Carbon fiber strengthening technology uses structural epoxy to bonding carbon fiber cloth on the surface of concrete to form a composite----CFRP. CFRP works in coordination with concrete to strengthen the component, structure and improve its mechanical performance. Reinforced by carbon fiber composite can effectively improve the structural state (reduce deformation, reduce the original structural stress, reduce cracks)

Application of carbon fiber/epoxy composites for strengthening of structures
Structural reinforcement of building beams, columns and floor slabs. Reinforcement of bridges, piers and deck structures. Structural reinforcement of tunnels and chimneys;. Corrosion and reinforcement of beach buildings. Civil buildings, industrial buildings, municipal roads and bridges, water conservancy projects, power projects, etc.

Technical points of carbon fiber/epoxy composites for strengthening of structures
① When reinforced by bending, the fiber direction should be consistent with the force direction of the reinforcement;
② In shear reinforcement and seismic reinforcement, the fiber direction should be perpendicular to the axial direction of the member;
③In the case of bending reinforcement and shear reinforcement, the concrete strength grade should not be lower than C15;
④ When using closed and bonded carbon fiber to reinforce the concrete column, the concrete strength grade should not be lower than C10;
⑤The effect of carbon fiber reinforcement mainly depends on the fiber bonding process, and a professional construction team should be responsible for the construction.
