Recently, the second working meeting for the revision of the national engineering construction standard "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Structure Reinforcement Engineering" GB50550 (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") was successfully held in Chengdu. More than 30 representatives from the national building structure reinforcement industry, including experts, scholars, and industry personnel, gathered together. Dr. Tan Cheng from Shanghai Horse was invited to attend as a representative of the participating unit to help the revision of the national standard.

This "Code" was revised by Sichuan Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. in conjunction with Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Hunan University and many other universities, as well as scientific research, quality supervision, and construction units. It aims to further standardize the construction process of building structure reinforcement, structural reinforcement materials, and project quality acceptance.

Li Hongbing, editor-in-chief of "Specifications", presided over the meeting. It also gave a detailed introduction on the background of the project, the main revisions, the division of labor and the schedule, and the participants had a serious discussion on the revised outline (draft). After revision and improvement, a draft for soliciting opinions was finally formed, and the next step of work was arranged.
