Reinforcement of old factory buildings

Project overview
The factory buidling was built in 80s, the original structure was two storey frame structure, the column foundation buried 1.8 meters. Due to the expansion of the owner's production scale, the original plant can not meet the new equipment layout and need to be strengthened.

Factory building detection
In order to accurately assess the comprehensive capacity of the original plant, the professional personnel are first investigated and tested according to the requirements of the standard. The main problems of the test and display plant are as follows:
1. The powerhouse is overloaded, and the floor has the foundation of discarded equipment.
2. The surface of the beam and column appears the phenomenon：the exfoliation of the concrete protection layer, the exposure of the steel bar and the corrosion.
3. Because of the load increase, the structure is checked with a partial bearing capacity on each floor.
Reinforcement scheme
1. Building retrofitting. The base of the equipment and the leveling layer on the floor are all removed, and the structural layer is exposed to lighten the load of the workshop.
2. Structure reinforcement. In order to ensure the safety, it is necessary to check and reinforce the structure of the original plant. In the reinforcement design, the reasonable reinforcement scheme is determined according to the original structure form and the stress characteristics. At the same time, we should also take into account the requirements of progress, construction convenience, feasibility, economy and other factors.
