Project overview

The reinforced concrete frame for the project is Qilu Petrochemical Industries Co catalyst plant slurry storage. The structure is a platform. The platform is 5.200 meters high, with a span of 7.3 meters, five frames, and a total length of 22.25 meters. The plane size is shown below.


Four slurry storage tanks are placed on the platform. Under normal working conditions, each tank has a total weight of 850kN and no vibration. Now we need to add two more 85kN stripping machines on the platform.


The design and construction of the original framework by the end of 2001, due to the new concrete specification, specification and implementation of seismic load specification in 2002, increase the difference between old and new norms and new equipment load, causing the original structure obviously can not meet the requirements, the amount of reinforcement in the beam at the lower than the current seismic design standard of about 25% ~ 35%.
