Project overview

A drainage pipe is drilled on the top of the frame beam to cause damage to the frame beam and must to strengthen.

Strengthening scheme

When the beam opens in the middle of the high direction, it usually cuts off the stirrup in the beam and the longitudinal structural steel bar, which affects the shear ability of the beam. When the hole is in the lower part of the beam, the main stress bar in the beam will be cut off and the bending bearing capacity of the beam will be affected. Therefore, different ways of reinforcement should be carried out according to the location of the openings on beams.

1. When the distance between the lower edge of the beam and the bottom of the beam is >80mm from the bottom of the beam, the method of reinforcing the sketch in the middle of the beam shall be treated. After treatment, the original shear bearing capacity can be satisfied.

2. When the distance from the bottom of the beam to the bottom of the beam is less than 80mm, the method should be treated according to the method of reinforcing the opening at the bottom of the beam. After treatment, the original shear and flexural bearing capacity can be satisfied.
